BEVERLY SIMMS is a Stenographer for the Fire Department. Each year, hundreds of firefighters across the country pay the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. One of the special projects that she is responsible for is composing an individualized letter of condolence for the Fire Chief's signature each time there is a line of duty death anywhere in the country. Beverly is a member at one of the prominent churches in Gardena, California, and she resides in Santa Clarita, California. In her spare time, she performs singing engagements at various functions.
