After graduating from the University of Colorado, Janet G. Balfour walked into an elementary school classroom to begin her 30-year teaching career. She taught all subjects in grades K–5, but her favorites were science and writing.Mrs.Balfour enjoyed telling stories to her students to help them learn how to write with ease.
She has traveled extensively in the U.S., is the mother of four sons, and has two granddaughters. She enjoys traveling, shopping, and new adventures.
