The Gospel According to Satan traces the story of an insignificant demon and his attempts to rise through the ranks of the underworld. Through influence, deception, lies, and violence, Goshen hopes to bring down the child of promise and once again receive honour from his peers amongst the dark horde. His infernal majesty is unaware of the present danger, as he basks in the worship of the gentiles. Only Goshen has discerned the times. He has armed himself with the ancient Scriptures, calculated the times using the prophecies of Belteshazzar, and gained control over the wicked King Herod and the latest priest to join the Sanhedrin, Caiaphas. Most disturbing of all for the dark realm, only Goshen realises the imminent danger the approaching virgin birth poses. This event signals the beginning of a major battle between the angelic host and the dark horde for the hearts of men.
Glimpsing the life of the Messiah through the war in the heavenlies, this story follows the horde's attempts to defeat the Christ from before His birth, through His youth and early manhood, to His public life and what was the dark realm's brightest day, the cross.
