A Message from the
Poetic Messenger is a Book of poetry, spoken word and songs glorifying God, and
encouraging others.  It's about
transformation, forgiveness, making discrimination known, and poetic justice
with a universal message that "We are All In One and One In
all."
People going through
workplace discrimination and other types of discrimination, I know how you
feel!  I should be absent from the body,
and present with Lord from all the abuse I endured and continue to bear at the hands
of a few of my past employers.  But, I'm
not dead, I'm alive and probably more so than ever before.  You can get through all of the pain without
harming others or yourself.  I made it
through, not with family, nor with friends.
I trusted God and while I waited for God to move on my behalf; God kept
me.  He gave me strength, courage, wisdom
and peace, as He revealed my gifts and talents.
I didn't know I could write like this, until one cold dark gloomy rainy
evening while sitting in the lunchroom at work, isolated from my co-workers,
feeling lonely and helpless, "I asked God, what am I going to
do?"  "A voice said, write a
song."  "I repeated back to
God, write a song!"  "A voice
said, don't discriminate."  I got a
pen and paper and that night I was inspired to write "No Skin."
