We all have a thorough understanding of what love really is, or do we? There are a lot of songs and television shows that talk about love; they even go so far as to tell us how to love. The intent of those mediums may be good, and hearers and viewers of those media outlets may gush at the thought of loving and being in love. However, there is a lot that has not been thoroughly understood about the topic.
There are three main types of love that are discussed: Eros, Philia, and Agape. They are displayed in our everyday lives without many of us realizing it. However, one of these types of love is so powerful that it makes what is unforgivable, forgivable, and it completely obliterates hatred. Because God is love, nothing can ever defeat it, just as God cannot be defeated. Unfortunately, this particular love is the one that is least displayed and shown in our everyday lives.
