Stacy Lipford - High lives in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey with her husband, Phillip and their seventeen year old son, Johnathan. They are also the parents of Shannon, forty - one, Phillip II, thirty – six and Dana, thirty - four. She has nine grandchildren. She has written two other books entitled Something of His Own and Themes of Nature, and is a Christian author.  She grew up in a small, rural town called Elwood, New Jersey; and is the daughter of Barbara Lipford and the late Richard Lipford
