Growing up in the countryside of southern Alabama, Alida fell in love with her front porch swing. It was on that front porch that she learned many lessons herself as she listened to wisdom from elders and watched the world around her. She became an avid reader on that front porch. As her children left home, Alida found solace and inspiration on her porch swing… reading and writing, listening and responding. You’ll become fast friends as you laugh and cry together while she shares from her heart the things God has revealed to her on her front porch.
