“God’s light steadfastly finds us. Brian Gigee’s ‘God Works’ is a daily companion that encourages us to lift our eyes, adjust our focus, and follow Jesus’ call to love and service in the best and worst of times.”    – Peter Mayer /musician at Little Flock and Jimmy Buffet’s Coral Reefer Band
“Brian’s simple and personal reflections are not intended to change the world overnight. His stories and questions help each reader discover the change they can be for those close by and in so doing the world gets changed one person at a time.”    – Candace Shira, CFP
‘God Works’ provides a lens to access and assess spiritual awareness.” I have known Brian since we were nine years old, our lives mirroring both the good and not-so-good. He remains transparent and authentic, with a passion for teaching the lessons of Jesus. This book accents that lifelong mission. Over the years, his desire to improve the spiritual experience of men in particular stands out among his many accomplishments.”    – Michael J. Woloschak, O.D.
“Discipleship, following Christ, is a gift of the Spirit, lived one day at a time, one moment at a time. Brian gives us 40 reflection/inflection points to ponder. Don’t read it in one sitting. Consider it a 40-day devotional (for Lent perhaps?) and let it spark your prayer life as it did his at Camp Chrysalis.”   – The Rev. Michael Rinehart, Bishop / Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
