God, the architect of the ages, has seen fit to take us into his confidence concerning his plan for the future and has revealed His purpose and program in detail in the word. In this book, The Rapture Things To Come, you will find that many preachers, teachers, theologians, and prophets have their own views of the second coming.
God is the architect. He laid out His own plan for the ages. There has been a number of prophecies with accuracy in the Bible speaking of His second coming.
I find the study of prophecy has an even higher and more practical value. It provides compelling motivation for living in Christian life. The immediacy of prophetic events shows the need to live each moment in Christ-like readiness. Future events have present implications that we cannot ignore. When we know that Christ is coming again to this earth, we cannot go on being the same people.

Rev. Dr. James Cotton, PhD, desired to become a doctor from an early age when he was raised on a farm with his five other siblings. At 18, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and was trained to be a medical technician. When he was discharged from the military, he went back to finish school, and upon graduation, started his own company. He opened five stores at one time and maintained those businesses for fifty-one years. He received a Bachelor’s in Church Administration, a Master’s in Divinity, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Theology. He helped out at his church and at a food bank. One of his greatest desires is to help people. He believes that the purpose of human life is to prosper and live happy in a Godly way and to help others do the same. A person never stands so tall as when they lean down to help someone in need.
