I have placed my “pastor’s ponderings” in this book as a result of the encouragement of friends and acquaintances. The premise and hope of this devotional book are that it will facilitate a deeper spiritual walk for all who read it.
Each devotional was developed by relating everyday objects or activities to our spiritual lives, with the intent of keeping them simple enough so that even a child could understand them. Each devotional encourages the reader to be a better Christian, to attend church more regularly, to study the Bible more, or to grab hold of some other spiritual insight or discipline.
It is my desire that this book will be used by the Holy Spirit to enlighten the readers of their spiritual weaknesses in order to be brought closer to God. If this happens, I will consider it a success.

Brock Davis has a Master’s in Theology from Liberty University and has been a full-time pastor for 22 years. Brock has been married to his wife, Diane, for 29 years, and they have 2 adult sons, Blaine and Dillon. Brock surrendered to the ministry in his early twenties and has been serving the Lord faithfully ever since. Brock is currently in his fifth pastorate and has an overwhelming desire to reach the lost. He started writing his “Pastor’s Ponderings” approximately 8 years ago in order to minister on a more daily basis to the congregation. Brock loves his Lord, his family, and encouraging people to reach for a deeper relationship with Christ.
