In A Daily Surviving Overcomer, author Helen Newlin shares with readers her story of personal growth. Having faced drug addiction, alcoholism, incarceration, and a fractured home life, Helen turned to God to find her way and improve her life. Though she continued to face trials and tribulations in her life and with her family after giving herself to Jesus Christ, she learned to become a daily overcoming survivor.
With the power of prayer, her faith in God, and her willingness to follow the Bible, Helen has time and time again won the battles she has faced and been able to get back on her feet. In her story of spiritual growth, women can find encouragement and faith in knowing they are not alone and that they may too become daily overcoming survivors. Helen Ann Newlin is a single mother of 3 children Kory Scott Isley, Ashley Renea Isley and Terrance Antonio Isley, and she has 7 grandchildren. She is from Burlington, NC and now resides in Thomasville, NC. She is a partner at Life Changing International Church where she is active in the Music Ministry in Praise and Worship and the Choir. She is a High Point Detention Jail Volunteer on the women’s floor for 11yrs. She loves to cook, is appointed the note taker of sermons taught by her Pastor for the body to use in study time and loves to spend time with her family. She is optimistic for the future and is Believing for this novel to be a worldwide Blessing.
