Leeta
wrote This is the Lord’s Doing Lyrically Speaking to express
frustrations, concerns, love, failure, success, bondage and deliverance.
Instead of speaking to others about what she was going through, she decided to
write it down and speak through poetry. Lyrically Speaking is an expression of
emotions from and about Leeta as well as towards and about others. Hopefully as
you read this book, you can journey with the author as she expresses
compassion, empathy and passion about the things that shaped her past, present
and future.
Leeta Bigbee is a single mother of two. She worked in federal service for almost 30
years. She served our country in the US Army. She also is a servant of the
Lord. She received the Holy Ghost over 20 years ago.
Leeta has never claimed to be a poet and still doesn’t
consider herself a poet. She explains these collections of poems as a way to
express her feelings, emotions and concerns. Being able to write down what she is feeling with great
emotion to provoke emotion in and out of others. Leeta plans to continue
writing and expressing herself through novels, poetry and songs. You can expect
to see more great writings from her in the near future.
