Composer and Producer of the Album, “Tonight with Ben Soliz”
Ben Soliz has been a big dreamer! Despite his humble beginning and with just a 3-stringed guitar, he dreamed of joining a famous band at a very young age! Nothing stood in his way for his great love for music. It was almost a total salvation for him to have it, to search his soul for his love of music. Such a great desire for music got into a spiritual quest so that his music got intertwined with the search for his soul! The combination of both catapulted him into kind of stardom, his dream came true playing with a famous band like “The Platters” as their bass guitarist. It was hard to imagine that such a thing could happen to a young boy whom he said traveled around the world with a famous band with no dollar in his pocket to start with. As a writer, his spirituality and love for music have been reflected in his writings. He is very passionate to unravel his soul and his quest for a higher identity. He knew that other than this physical make-up and force that he needs to deal with every day, that there is a Higher Being who watches him, protecting him and loving him as evidence of how he had escaped life-threatening situations! His reluctance to why such incredible happenings did happen to him came to the incessant question:” “Why ME, Lord?” He wrote simply but powerfully. You can’t help being there yourself, feeling the fear, the ecstasy of the moment, especially when he wrote about his Miraculous Encounter with God and the unbelievable and bizarre circumstances that followed it! His writing is very moving, so vivid and poignant and engaging but elevating and inspirational, giving hope to people who feel themselves alone with their struggles!
