“I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20 NIV
Michael and Jan Burroughs were enjoying their retirement years visiting family in three states and traveling the world. Their lives dramatically changed when a teenager doing 80 mph hit their car on a residential road near to their home. The crash they miraculously survived put Jan in the hospital for a month and rehabilitation for a year. With her therapy ended, they were resuming their lives when she suffered the first of three strokes in five months. This is their story. It relates the details of her injuries and strokes and the spiritual pathway of faith, hope, and action they have both been on ever since. Moving Mountains takes you on a journey through the American healthcare delivery system as one crisis after another unfolds. In the midst of these trials, the author and his wife seek to make sense of it all as they embrace the healing power of the Holy Spirit. This is the story of their test, and the beginning of their testimony.
