I am Chelsea Jones. I am many things in no particular order of importance. My profile is comprised of titles and responsibilities that often take place at the same time and all of equal prominence. That makes me an Educator who inspires, a daughter who leads, a singer who writes, a sinner saved by grace, and much, much more. I owe deepest honor and gratitude to Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, of which I am a proud graduate. This gratitude is also extended to my hometown community, Hannibal Square of West Winter Park, Florida. There is a balm in Hannibal Square. This village, my village, fortifies the heart of not just my writing, but my being. I am being developed by many inspirations: pain, laughter, family, friends, injustice, justice, ancestors, birds, sun, and expressions of all forms. One of the many purposes God has established for my life is writing; to write until we are all free even if it means going at the pace of one letter at a time.
