BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: The author has received degrees from Freed-Hardeman College (1958) and Harding College (1960). He earned the M.A. in French (1977) and the Ph.D in Comparative Literature (1987) from The University of Southern Mississippi. He has taught French and Spanish, as well as World Literature and English Composition for thirty years, including twenty years at Freed-Hardeman University.
