Many believers seek to live without consideration of God’s will for themselves. Others seek to integrate God’s word into their lives. In both cases, consequences result. The authors have sought to demonstrate what happens when people follow God or choose not to. The characters reflect their commitment to God, or lack of it, by their decisions.
The authors desire to encourage their readers to prioritize God’s will in their lives, trusting Him to manage the details and outcomes that result from obeying His word. While the characters in the stories are fictional, the situations they face are common, and the choices are similar to what the authors have seen occur.
Follow God’s will as it is revealed in His word.

Guy Goodell has been preaching for over sixty-five years, serving as an evangelist, missionary to foreign countries, planter of churches, and pastor. He has been involved in Christian education for over fifty years, teaching K-12 and at the college and university level.
Elise Mansfield, Guy’s granddaughter, graduated from the Christian school in Greater Glens Falls Bible Baptist Church. She then attended New England Baptist College in Southington, Connecticut, graduating with a B. A. Degree in Secondary English Education with a Music Minor.
Both authors wrote these stories to present to their readers the effects that can occur in one’s life by either obeying or disobeying God’s word in daily living. While the characters are fictitious, they represent real possibilities in the lives of real people.
The authors desire to entertain, encourage, enrich, and evangelize the lives of the readers of these accounts.
