People are difficult and relationships are hard. Mistakes can be life lessons or catastrophic events which change a person forever. Humanity in itself is a broken system. People want to be loved, accepted, and forgiven. We all need love and support. We all need a place to call home. The mind will search to quench a thirst that cannot find a drink. Is there a hope for this broken life?
There is hope, he is a person, his name is Jesus. He knows everything about you; he will forgive you and redeem you. There is nothing in life too disappointing, awful, or frightening for him. As you turn the pages of this book, you will read stories of Jesus. You will see him move in a life no different than yours. There is hope.
Six years ago as I struggled through a variety of issues, I realized I needed a lot of intervention. I had developed habits that were unhealthy. I was frustrated and angry. My fight with rejection was real. I needed the truth. I turned to the Lord because he is the only person I knew understood my innermost thoughts. A journaling process led to a deeper relationship with God. I began to take every situation to him. I shared what I was learning in our life group. One of my friends suggested that my journals should become a book. It was a six year process. My name is Mychelle Simms. I live a simple life. I am a wife, mom, teacher, sister, and friend. I love the people in my life. My hope is this book will find its way into the hands of those who need love.
