Her story of survival began all the way on the day of her birth as she was born at twenty-four weeks and weighed only three pounds. From childhood up to her late teenage years, she became a victim of molestation, abuse (physical, verbal, and sexual), and three counts of rape by her stepfathers and supposed friends. Fear, guilt, shame, and feelings of unworthiness were all she felt over those countless years, turning to anger, hatred, and rage as she reached adulthood.
Through the bad and the worse, each year brought her closer to God until she attended a church service that changed her life forever. Now, she no longer considers herself a victim, but rather an overcomer since the day she received her healing through her Lord and Savior. Miller is a miracle, and her story is a wonder and a prayer to others so they, too, can overcome their pasts and maintain victory in their lives for their futures.
Sonja is an ordained Minister and President and Founder of Lo.v.e. Ministries which (Love) stands for (Ladies of Victory Everywhere). Sonja teaches a Women’s Bible Study on Tuesday afternoons at (COG) Family Worship Center.
The Lord has given Sonja a heart for hurting women who have suffered abuse and rejection in their lives, and she wants to see them set free to overcome their past and maintain victory in their lives.
Sonja lives in a Southwest Michigan Town with her Husband of 50 years, who is an ordained Minister. They have 2 daughters, 6 Granddaughters, 4 great-grandchildren between them.
