Dr. Shon Neyland is the Senior Pastor of Highland Christian Center (HCC), Portland, Oregon. Highland is a large, diverse, and growing church with over 730 members. Dr. Neyland is a Senior Executive Leader and CEO who honed his skills in the military over a 35-year career, retiring as a Colonel in the US Air Force. He enlisted in the Air Force in1984 and was commissioned as an officer in 1991. As a motivational and inspirational speaker, his words have brought hope, spiritual renewal, and increased faith to tens of thousands. Dr. Neyland has authored four other books and has earned 7 academic degrees. He has also received over 100 distinguished awards and decorations throughout his career for outstanding service to his nation. He has been married to his beautiful wife Madeline for 38 years and they have three adult children and one grandchild.
