Designed to be used alongside the book The Story of the Bible—God’s Message to the World, this Study Guide explores the topic discussed in each of the book’s chapters in more depth. The questions for each lesson follow the flow of the story, each question leading to a discovery of the answers in the original source, the Bible.
The book presents a panoramic view of God’s interaction with humanity through the storyline of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. In straight-forward and simple language, it traces God’s plan of redemption running like a scarlet thread through the events it recounts.
This Study Guide can be used both for individual study and for small group classes. It particularly encourages the student to notice details in the text of the Bible, bringing its message to life. By comparing related passages in the Old and New Testaments it also brings out rich insights that apply to us today.
