The book of Revelation is meant to be understood by all Christians, offering blessings to those who read and obey it. Its structure, based on Revelation 1:19, divides into three parts: what John saw (Jesus among the churches), what is (the Church Age), and what will come (post-Church Age events).
The letters to the seven churches apply to all churches across time and geography, emphasizing the symbolic significance of the number seven. The Church Age ends with the Rapture, followed by the Tribulation—a period of judgment tempered with God's mercy. This culminates in Armageddon and Jesus' visible return to establish His millennial kingdom.
Afterward, Satan is cast into the lake of fire, and believers dwell eternally in the New Jerusalem with God and Christ, while unbelievers face eternal judgment. Believers are urged to live watchfully and share the gospel passionately, anticipating Christ's return.
