For women longing to create a family, yet physically incapable of doing so, many wonder why bad things happen to good people. This line of thinking often leads to a life altering question: How can God be good if He allows bad things to happen to good people?
Katie Johnson wondered this as she encountered infertility professionally, working as an RN with one of the leading infertility doctors in the country, and then personally by becoming this very doctor's patient. She struggled with her faith, questioned her God, and He was big enough to handle her questions.
This book takes you on her journey of identifying the lies and mental traps of infertility while discovering the truth about this topic in God's Word. She also examines Biblical accounts of infertility and how God blessed these women with children.
What brought Johnson peace and joy in the end was discovering the truth. God's heart toward us is good even if we cannot make sense of our circumstances. Our bodies do not limit His power, and His plans for us are greater than anything we could ever ask, think, or imagine.

Katie Johnson is an operating room RN in Mobile, Alabama. Her faith has always been a major part of her life. God was more to her than a thing to vaguely associate with or flippantly claim as part of her identity. He was, and is, her identity, but the inability to create a family began to crush her soul. She started writing this book as a therapeutic exercise to find answers to her questions. God, however, had different plans, knowing that others struggling with the same questions, thoughts, and feelings needed these answers too. Her hope is that this book can help heal others the same way it has healed her.
