This inductive Bible study explores the character of many women in
the Old and New Testaments to see the relationship these women had with
God. The in-depth twelve week study examines events that revealed the
strengths and weaknesses of women in the Bible so that those living
today can learn from their obedience as well as from their mistakes. As
the lessons point to God s sovereignty, His provision, His blessings,
and His consequences for sin, the students also see evidence of God s
grace and mercy toward His children. The last lesson focuses on the
relationship each believer has with God through Christ Jesus, to
provide a source of encouragement. Many practical application questions
are considered so that students are challenged to grow stronger in
their faith and in their walk with the Lord.
The study provides a number of options for completing the
lessons. The student could complete the observation questions followed
by application questions, or complete the remainder of the lesson for
an in-depth study. Students could also study only some of the portions
of the in-depth lesson beyond the observation questions. The study also
offers a reflection in Scripture to provide a time of worship as a
conclusion to the daily study.

JAN WELLS has been married thirty-eight years, is the mother of two
grown and married children, is a new grandmother, and was a former
secondary school teacher. Jan has written ten in-depth inductive
studies that reflect her passion for the Lord and His word, as well as
the importance of the ministry of discipleship within the church. Jan,
the creator of Sunergos Bible Studies, has taught the Bible to adults
for over twenty years in an interdenominational ministry as well as
within her own church.
The author has an M.A. in Christian Ministry from Simpson
College (C&MA) and is presently seeking an M.Div. from Golden Gate
Baptist Theological Seminary (SBC). The inductive studies available
include Jonah, The Life of David, The Sermon on the Mount, Galatians
and the Fruit of the Spirit, Ephesians, Titus and the Call to Biblical
Discipleship, James, Romans, and the topical studies, Women of the Word
and Prayers of the Bible. The studies have been used in a number of
