This twelve-week inductive Bible study examines the book of Philippians, Paul's letter to the church in Philippi. Incorporated in this in-depth study is a look at the life of the Apostle Paul and the founding of the Philippian church. Each lesson studies the call to biblical fellowship, looking at one of the "one another" commands written to the Christian church. What it means to love others is taught through the "one another" commands. Each lesson includes the challenge to apply Scripture so that believers become closer to the Lord and more mature in their faith.
Sunergos Bible Studies offer reflections in Scripture as a time of worship for the conclusion to each day. Students have various options for completing the study. When a group is meeting weekly to discuss the lessons, each student will benefit from the suggested review discussions in the leader's guide.
JAN WELLS has been married thirty-nine years, is the mother of two grown and married children, and is a new grandmother. A former English and history teacher, she has written twelve in-depth inductive studies reflecting her passion for the Lord and His Word. Incorporated in Jan's writing are a commitment to the importance of the ministry of discipleship within the body of Christ and a sensitivity to the differences in the way people think and learn. The creator of Sunergos Bible Studies, Jan has taught the Bible to adults for over twenty years in an interdenominational ministry.
The author has an M.A. in Christian Ministry from Simpson College (C&MA) and is pursuing an M.Div. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (SBC).
