NEW BOOK IMPLORES READERS TO KEEP THE FIRE GOING STRONG
Offers readers seven practical steps on how to keep the fire burning in their heart for all of their lives
MAITLAND, FL—Art Conrad’s new book, Your Heart, God’s Firebox ($12.99, paperback, 9781498498302; $6.99; eBook, 9781498498319) gives seven qualities—seven logs, so to speak—to put on the fire that God put in readers hearts at salvation to keep the fire burning. The goal of the book is to take the fire that God put in our hearts at salvation, and have it grow from a smolder to a flame, and then to an inferno. God wants our hearts to blaze on fire for Him, as we grow in His love, for all of eternity. Conrad uses God’s plan, from 2 Peter 1:3-8 and gives readers’ seven practical steps for how they can keep the fire burning.
Conrad writes, “I believe that every Christian needs to be on fire for the Lord. In doing so, it will not just transform each of us as Christians, but also our families, our churches, and even our culture and society. A genuine Christian should desire that for their own lives, but they should also want to impact the lives of their families, churches, and our society. I think others need to see a difference in us or our lives will never make a difference for Christ in our world today.”
Art Conrad has been saved for over 35 years. In that time, he has gone from diligently working in the church he was saved in, to giving up a business and where he was born and raised to go to college and seminary. Conrad worked with youth throughout those times. He has now been a Youth, Associate, and Senior Pastor for almost twenty-five years. He is also the executive director of Northern Lights Ministries where they take all ages on adventure trips to Canada, challenging them physically and spiritually to grow stronger in their faith and keep their fire burning.
