LONGWOOD, FL--A Lesson for the Teacher: A Plan from Above ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-60791-893-6), a new release from Xulon Press co-authors Jay and Paulette Heisler, is the autobiographical journey of a man from a Jewish family, raised with mixed and often confusing views about faith and life. As he stumbles his way into teaching and into the hands of God, the door is opened for him to learn the greatest lesson of all from Jesus. A serious medical diagnosis and a zeal for music and Bob Dylan become additional vehicles that move the story through humorous and sorrowful times to its revelation of God's wonderful plan for his life.

Says Heisler, "Anyone who suffers from self esteem issues, a medical condition, or has been through the pain of family loss can relate to the common man theme, told through both humorous and touching experiences. [I hope] to uplift readers by showing how lives can be changed and directed through God's loving forces, regardless of difficult or seemingly impossible obstacles."

A teacher for 20 years, Jay Heisler often gave his testimony about the Lord to friends and family but felt the need to reach out and share his experience with as many as possible. In this, his first literary work, he expertly conveys the enormity of God's all-encompassing love, which can bring together any circumstances for the better.

Jay Heisler was born and raised in Bronx, New York, where he earned his Masters of Education from Lehman College. Paulette Heisler grew up in California, where she became interested in art and design at an early age. The co-authors currently reside in Tampa, Florida.
