LONGWOOD, FL-About 2,000 years before there were Christians, says Dr. Riley H. Nelson in his new book Replacement Theology: Dishonesty? Envy? Covetousness? Conceitedness? Presumptuousness? Ignorance? Or blasphemy? ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60477-952-3) God covenanted with Abram. Furthermore, most of the religions classified as "Christian" today came into existence recently and are as diverse as the leaves on a tree-and are at war, either covertly or overtly, with one another over many things, especially money and power. The book sheds light on a pervasive problem in Christianity today-the false or baseless claim of ?'replacement theology."

Says Nelson, "The book sheds light on a dark area of Christendom, which is self-destructive and dangerous. My hope is to enable Christians to understand and acknowledge their inseparable link to or relationship with Israel."

The self-described "Spirit-driven" author has a passion for intellectual honesty which, coupled with his thirst for knowledge, led him to prayerfully read the Word to witness firsthand the wealth of knowledge the Holy Spirit was willing to impart on him. His desire for spiritual growth, which was influenced in adolescence by people who lived and spoke the Word of God, allowed him to discover these truths in the Bible for himself. Similarly, "I hope this book will stir somebody else into searching the Word," he says.

Dr. Riley H. Nelson currently resides in Orlando, Florida.
