LONGWOOD, FL--Within the pages of Broken Cisterns ($24.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-225-9), an inspiring new title from Minister Juanita Young, is the story of a girl named Jamie, who struggles to find Christ in her life. Based on true events, the book details how, after growing up a confused child and hating the world for not being filled with love, Jamie begins to hate herself. As the battle between Christ and satan wages on in her mind, she soon comes to realize the importance of seeking God and surrendering to Him.

"I want my readers to realize that God is always with them and always will be," the author says. "We all can let life get in the way of God if we don't hold on to Him. As a Christian and a minister, it is my job to spread the news about Christ so that He can comfort all who have experienced this."

Written from the author's own experiences, this book is filled with conversations she has had with others during the course of her life's journey. "I always wondered why I would say to my pastor when I'd asked a question, 'What do I tell them?'" she explains. "At those times I didn't know why I needed to know answers for others until I got serious with my writing." She prayed all the way through the writing of this book, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and much studying of the King James Bible, she was gifted with a God-given message that she now shares openly with others.
