LONGWOOD, FL---Many people have no idea who they really are and, most importantly, why they are here. Who Do You THINK You Are? (paperback, 978-1-60477-743-7; hardcover, 978-1-60477-744-4) by Rev. James Wesley Straughn will put those questions to rest. Simply and prayerfully written, this book will bring readers to a new level of comprehension regarding their eternal destiny. The complex story of mankind tackles many of the hard-hitting questions that have been plaguing us since the beginning of time: Why this creation called mankind? What's our purpose? What's our destiny? How did we get so far off track? Why can't we get along with each other?

Says Straughn, "Readers should gain knowledge of mankind's inherited waywardness and the steps to true rescue and victory in Jesus, the Christ. This knowledge can open the door for Holy Spirit interaction with the inner man, bringing the choice of a new life for every individual."

An accomplished Air Force instructor, Bible teacher, and ordained minister, Straughn wrote his book to cater to the needs of hurting people. This down-to-earth and from the heart presentation of the gospel "includes [readers'] origin, purpose, and ultimate destiny," the author says. "They need to see God's whole plan for mankind, not just splinters or parts of the story."

Rev. James Wesley Straughn and his wife, Shirley, have seven children, 25 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. They currently reside in Texas.
