LONGWOOD, FL-As children of God, each of us undertakes a journey-a walk-and no matter what stage we may find ourselves in, we will all come up against obstacles. It is author S. E. Berry's sincerest hope that believers everywhere will understand that regardless of the enemy's hand or plans against our lives, the Word of God will prevail. In her timely and divinely inspired new release from Christian self-publisher Xulon Press, The Journey: The Ongoing Adventure Not Written for but by Believers (paperback, 978-1-60647-424-2), she hopes to enrich, encourage, and fortify every believer through the circumstances encountered along this difficult path.

"I feel that this book offers a different and exciting way of presenting the journey that is traveled by every believer while at the same time remaining individualized," she says. "The experiences encountered along the way, although general in nature, are still uniquely personal for every committed child of God. This story, despite the fact it is an allegory, encourages and fortifies the true believer because it is scripturally sound and does not deviate from the truth as rendered in the Word of God."

Berry began writing at the tender age of seven and has since received multiple awards through schools for her work. At Triton Community College, where she was a student in the early '80s, two of her essays were published in a special college publication that only featured a total of the top five essays selected from students. Additionally, the author enrolled in journalism classes and wrote tracts to be used as witnessing tools. Thus, it seemed like the logical next step to combine her love of the two-writing and God-to release her first full-length publication, The Journey.
