New Book Teaches Readers How to Become Their Best Self

Truths will leap off the page and promote a positive change

2010-08-25

LONGWOOD, FL--The body of Christ is moving in a direction of growing exponentially in knowledge, wisdom, and--most importantly--understanding the mind of God. All of these things are needed so that Christians can fight the good fight of faith and deal with the things that are happening today, facing life with the right response to the battlefield of the mind. Within the pages of My Be Attitude (Who Be You) ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-627-1), a new release from Dr. Vanessa Dantzler Ussery, the author gives the reader insight into personal growth and development in order to help them become the person they are destined to be.

"[Readers will learn how to] overcome unhealthy thinking and replace it with positive truths," the author says. "This is the sure way to become your best self. The truth leaps out and impacts you in the heart to promote a positive change."

Dr. Ussery is the senior pastor of Apostolic Faith Home Assembly, Inc. (better known as "Home Assembly"). This church is the oldest apostolic church in Los Angeles affiliated with the international organization, the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Her appointment as senior pastor marks an historic occasion for the Home Assembly, as she is the first female to pastor the mother church. However, in consideration of the lineage of this woman of God, the appointment seems extremely apropos.
