Nellie K. Hartsoe has shared a lifetime of honest experiences. The author shares an unusual birth, childhood, and adult situations in a storytelling manner. She has over fifty years teaching experience. Her love of her Lord and Savior, music and education has afforded many opportunities for service through the years. She has served as Music and Youth Director in several churches including the chapel in Crailsheim, Germany. She is listed in 1968 Outstanding Young Women in America. She has received many awards for her children’s story writing, poetry, play writing and directing church choirs and plays. She holds Master of Education Degree from the South Carolina University, Columbia, SC. She is presently teaching English at Midlands Technical College.
