MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Sultana Jones’s new book, Innocent Blood: A Story Of Redemption ($12.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-375-0; $6.99, e-book, 978-1-62419-376-7) is a story about the powerful love of a living God poured out upon broken hearts. Jones clearly answers the questions: “Is there forgiveness, and if so, is it too late for me?”

“[My hope is that readers will gain] new life in Christ through repentance, confession and forgiveness,” states the author. “John 3:17 explains it best. ‘For God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through him.’”

Sultana Jones is the youngest of four. She was removed from her family at the age of five; it was during this time that she learned how to love people of all colors. The author was fourteen when she wrote her first story “Little Bird.” Notably, Jones illustrates her own stories. She continues, “I have since written about thirty-five children’s stories including three more young adult fictions. I have briefly lived on the streets, lost everything, then found everything in Jesus. I married my best friend, John, twenty-three years ago and we still laugh and play with each other. We adopted two children, Analea and Edward and I still want more children. I worked as a Neighborhood Outreach Coordinator and in 2002 and 2003 won ‘Citizen of the Year’ in Fairfax and Burk, VA.”

Xulon Press, a division of Salem Communications, is the world’s largest Christian self-publisher, with more than 8,000 titles published to date.
