Eric and Sylvia Cruz
says, “Believe in God above all things. If he brings you to it, he will bring
you through it. Without a doubt he has done the impossible making our outcome
possible.”
Eric Cruz was born in
New York City (1963) to Felix and Julia Cruz. He was raised in Puerto Rico
until finishing High School. Eric later moved to Cupertino, California to study
computer science, while enjoying his favorite hobby of playing baseball. After
a few years, he decided to join the US Army and served with the 1st Infantry
Division, “The Big Red One” in the mid-1980s. After he was honorably
discharged, he moved to the Central Florida area where he joined the Fire Service.
Eric presently works for the Kissimmee Fire Department and has been there for
the past twenty-
Seven years.
Sylvia Bayron was
born in New York City (1965) to Ismael and Luz Maria Bayron. Sylvia is the
oldest of three. Sylvia’s biological parents divorced shortly after her sister
Nancy was born and remained friends. Sylvia’s mother remarried her stepfather
Angel Luis Sanabria and they remain together til this day. She grew up in
Spanish Harlem and there was never an uneventful day.
Eric and Sylvia met in Kissimmee, Florida and
married in 1999. They have three sons and two grandsons. The Cruz’s are devoted
Christians and attend the Family Christian Center. Eric and Sylvia Cruz are by
no terms experts, just witness and victims of bad experiences.
God has a purpose for
Eric and Sylvia, and they are compelled to share their story.
