very question which prompted her to really start thinking about where her life was going and what was
important to her. Crofts realized that her focus needed to be on cultivating
treasures in heaven rather than trying to amass treasures on earth. Earthly
treasures will soon be gone but our heavenly treasures will last for all
eternity and, according to Crofts, that's what this life is all about.
Crofts
describes Where is Your Heart? as a book that will change people's lives
by changing their attitude. Where is Your Heart? is a
compilation of stories and highlights from the Old Testament, the Book of
Mormon and the Life of Christ from the New Testament that Crofts has turned
into poetry to make the Scriptures easier to read and understand. Crofts
communicates that she has had some powerful, personal, spiritual and inspirational
experiences that have prepared her to be able to compose the poetry. She hopes
that readers of this Scripture poetry will come to love and better understand
the Scriptures.
Since
1991 Dorothy Crofts has served as a volunteer to help other writers achieve
their goal of becoming a published author through the League of Utah Writers.
She has served for over 16 years in leadership positions on the State Board of
that organization. A member of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life, this book is a result
of setting a New Year’s Resolution to ?"ponder” the Scriptures and not just read
