Dr.
Fredo St. Charles shares his unique experience as a Christian convert from
voodoo in Saved by Grace: from Voodoo to the Gospel ($16.49, paperback, 9781498499903;
$26.49, hardback, 9781545607701; $8.99, e-book, 9781498499910). Growing up in Haiti, he was introduced to the
mystical world at a young age and took on the position of a voodoo priest. His life was changed after a personal
encounter with Jesus Christ and he seeks to proclaim His gospel.
St.
Charles explains many of the core beliefs of the voodoo religion, opening
readers’ eyes to teachings that may be foreign to them. He also explains how many voodoo followers
mistakenly believe that they can practice voodoo and Christianity at the same
time. His testimony will remove all
doubt that Jesus Christ is more powerful than all other gods.
“People
need to start believe again…We need more good news so people can continue to
have hope,” said St. Charles.
Dr.
Fredo Saint Charles earned a Master’s in Christian Education, a Doctorate in
Divinity, and a Philosophy Doctorate in Christian Counseling from Daysprings
Christian University. He is also a chaplain, counselor and therapist. He currently operates as an evangelist,
preaching at a variety of Haitian churches throughout the U.S.
