Author Katrina Montez (Taylor) Felton shares inspiring stories of individuals who have overcome loss, disease, abandonment and more in Masters of Resilience: Real Stories of Inspiration for Purposeful Living ($11.49, paperback, 9781631298967; $5.99, e-book, 9781631298974).

Felton was deeply impacted by the suicide of a fellow soldier with whom she served in the Army.  Later, she heard the gut-wrenching tales of other servicemen and women who had contemplated suicide themselves, and how they were able to move on with their lives thanks to the help they received.  By sharing these stories, she strives to give others hope and the encouragement they need to reach out.

“In this book, real life people share their personal encounters and hardships that could have destroyed them; mentally and physically. However, their trials led to a triumph,” said Felton.

Katrina Montez (Taylor) Felton a certified Health and Life Coach, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. Felton is a U.S. Army Medical Services Corp officer, with twenty years of service. In addition to her daily duties as a Medical Human Resources and Operations Officer in the Army, she also serves as a registered Suicide Prevention trainer and Master Resilience Trainer.
