After running away from her home and a childhood stained by incest, Ryan had few choices for employment. She depended on sugar daddies and strip clubs to feed her addictions to drugs and alcohol. She gave birth to a son and gave up custody. Eighteen years later, her son’s plea that she seek help convinced her to see a pastor who introduced Ryan to her Savior. From that day forward, her life was never the same.
“I wanted everyone to read about the One who enabled my ‘story make-over’. When I was helpless and hopeless, it happened - the opportunity to encounter the Creator,” said Ryan.
Ryan lives with her husband on the border of Pinelands National Reserve in New Jersey. What thrills her soul? – creating a spiritual home environment, journaling, singing, and spontaneous praise/worship dance. Sharon’s passion: to bring healing and freedom to other women (as well as men!) so that they would become carriers of God’s glory.
