Author Chad Busick encourages readers to embrace the journey, even when it’s painful, with The Rock Tumbler: 16 Life Lessons to Conquer the World by becoming who you're meant to be ($14.49, paperback, 9781632214089; $28.99, hardcover, 9781632214096; $5.99, e-book, 9781632214102).

Inspired by the image of a rock tumbler polishing common-looking stones to reveal their true beauty, Busick hopes readers take his lessons to heart when the grit is particularly abrasive.  As we encounter life’s difficulties, we can dwell on what is being stripped away from us, or we can use the experience to uncover the wonder within.

“I felt driven to empower others to view their circumstances not as things they simply ‘survived’ or ‘got through’ but as opportunities to grow into the best possible versions of themselves,” said Busick.

Chad Busick graduated from Cal Lutheran with a B.S. in Psychology. He is a Master Facilitator with Advance Sports Technology and a Power of Positive Leadership Certified Trainer with Jon Gordon Companies, working with college teams at the DI, DII, DIII and NAIA levels as well as high school and competitive teams across various sports. He and his wife Jennifer own Championship Mindset.
