Author Roy L. McCray hopes to inform the public about a potential health crisis in Bioterrorism: I Smell Smoke in the Healthcare Community ($17.49, paperback, 9781632216618; $8.99, e-book, 9781632216625).
McCray’s research into the history of the bubonic plague was thought-provoking. He saw how such common, everyday things as rats and fleas devastated nations through a little-known bacteria called Yersinia Pestis. As certain areas have seen an increase in Yersinia activity, McCray wants the medical community to be on their guard.
“Teamwork amongst nations, shared knowledge, and faith in GOD WE TRUST can conquer the sleeping giant, Yersinia,” said McCray.
