Author Richard Ceballo shares poetry born out of his personal loss in Grieving, Mourning and Wailing: The Narrow Road to Songs of Redemption, Volume 1 ($11.49, paperback, 9781662808692; $5.99, e-book, 9781662808708).

After his wife’s tragic death left him to raise his son alone, Ceballo could not seem to express his feelings out loud.  He found an outlet in poetry, using the medium to communicate all that his mind and heart were screaming at him.  In this volume, he has compiled these writings to help others process grief and loss.

Sometimes in life we do not know how to fully express all of our emotions and feelings on grief, so hopefully this book is a starting point for you,” said Ceballo.

Richard Ceballo is a husband, father, son, and brother. A high school dropout, he went on to earn his GED, Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Ceballo has been a singer/songwriter for The Buffalo Soldiers, as well as founder and CEO of the 503c non-profit Sterling Sports Foundation.  SSF runs sports camps for the youth of Jamaica in Trench Town & Franklin Town in honor of Ceballo’s late wife.
