Author John Piwetz offers a thought-provoking discussion with Can God Try? ($13.49, paperback, 9781662803987; $21.99, hardcover, 9781662813887; $6.99, e-book, 9781662803994).

Throughout his years in Christian circles, Piwetz heard other people comment on the state of their lives, others’ lives, or the world in general.  Many of these comments involved how God was “trying” to do one thing or another.  This inspired Piwetz to address whether or not it is even possible for God to try.

“I want God to be worshipped for all that He is.  He is great and glorious.  I believe His sovereignty is even greater than most Christians imagine, and I hope this book expands our understanding of just how completely sovereign our God, the God of the Bible, is,” said Piwetz.

John Piwetz is an Elder and active member of his church in Elizabethtown, KY, teaching various classes and Bible study groups.  He has taken post-graduate theology classes at Southern Seminary.  He and his wife, Karen, share four amazing daughters.
