Growing up in the housing projects of Harley Houses with her three siblings, Sinkfield was a happy child under her mother’s care. In later years, the roles would be reversed when she became her mother’s caregiver. These times, though filled with difficulty and pain, were also made possible through the love of God and His strength.
“I hope all caregivers will know that they are not alone and the struggles and challenges they encounter will only make them strong and love will get them through the storm,” said Sinkfield.
