Cope has been through ups and down throughout his career, and he has learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way. After a period of difficulty in 2000, he began to analyze the decisions and events that led up to that time. Here, he shares some the lessons he has learned in hopes that it will help someone else along their journey.

Cope holds an MBA in Management and Organizational Behavior from California Lutheran University, and has almost 40 years of operations experience with companies from fifteen to tens of thousands of employees. Cope’s passion is to challenge leaders and the organizations they work for to wake up and understand the impact their leadership style has on their employees and ultimately the health of their organization. He and his wife, Vicki, share two daughters and four grandchildren.
