Author Tawny McClure shares intimate details of her harrowing journey with readers in DANDELION TEA: A STORY ABOUT FORGIVENESS AND HEALING ($13.49, paperback, 9781662836862; $21.99, hardcover, 9781662836879; $5.99, e-book, 9781662836886).

McClure’s autobiography tells her story; the story of how a middle-class girl from South Central L.A. was affected by pain, abuse, divorce and sexual assault, and how her powerful journey relates to humanity, personal growth, and spirituality. She wrote this book to demonstrate her role as a victor and not a victim. Readers will no doubt be inspired by how she found the courage to forgive, heal, and move forward by the grace of God. She explains her belief that the Enemy knew her at a time that she did not identify with who she actually was, and of the power that she possessed. The Enemy made every attempt to ensure that McClure didn’t tap into the power of forgiveness and grace. Fortunately, she spiritually grew and learned from all of the trials and tribulations that she faced. McClure’s unique perspective will be well received by her readers because it paves the way for others to forgive and heal.

“I was inspired to write the book after my 3rd sexual assault and first and only kidnapping, to help people better understand the effects of sexual assault,” said McClure. “My target audience is both men and women, anyone who has endured trauma or knows others that have.”

Tawny McClure was born in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Glendale, Arizona in 1995 and completed her G.E.D and went on to receive an Associate of Science Degree at Estrella Mountain Community College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at DeVry University, Cum Laude, and a Master of Science Degree in Accountancy at The Keller Graduate School of Management with honorable distinction. She enjoy the outdoors, hiking, and watching movies.
