Author Niyi Olusoji, EdD provides the imminent and extremely necessary transformations to be made by every Christian in Politics, Prophesy, and The Pillage of the Church ($12.49, paperback, 9781662844171; $5.99, e-book, 9781662844188).
Dr. Niyi Olusoji believes that the Church has deviated from its primary role of preparing souls for the Kingdom of God. He emphasizes that Christians are residents of the earth and citizens of heaven and through his impactful writing, provides the much-needed transformations that every Christian should do before they can appreciate who they are and what the Lord expects of them. In this book, Dr. Olusoji encourages all Christians to examine those in Church leadership as he thoroughly identifies the attitudes and behaviors expected of those individuals. The author expresses his dismay at the use of the spiritual gift of prophecy to the detriment of the Church. He urgently advises the Church to repair and guard its walls to prevent another imminent attack by individuals that are neither called nor trained to lead.
When asked what inspired him to write this book, the author said, “The deplorable state of the Church brought about by poor leadership and the urgent need to rescue the Church.”
Dr. Niyi Olusoji was born and spent his early years in Nigeria, West Africa, where he trained and worked as a Nurse Anesthetist. He holds a Master’s Degree in Ministry and a Doctor of Education in Education and Leadership. He’s worked in healthcare in Southern Africa, the United Kingdom and currently in the United States. Dr. Olusoji met the Lord in the course of his career, pursued a ministry education, and was ordained as a Deacon and then as a Pastor. He is currently involved in the training of future generations of health workers and still answers the Call as a Preacher of the Words of Life. Dr. Olusoji’s passion for the souls of believers, the health of the Church, and concern about the Church’s deviation from its primary purpose of preparing souls for God’s Kingdom, informed the writing of this book. Besides worship, prayer and meditation, he also enjoys reading and writing.
