Toby Rockwell “Rock” Tyler is a form U.S. Navy Lt. Commander who resigned after officials compromised his covert mission in Iran.  Now a deputy sheriff in Chatham County, Georgia, he is recovering from clinical depression and the loss of his wife when he learns about terrorists and crooked law enforcement in his beloved Cocoa Village.  With the help of his friends, old and new, he rises to the occasion and wins both personal and societal victories.

R.T. Epling is a graduate of West Virginia University and a U.S. Navy veteran.  He has served as a law enforcement officer and volunteer on the federal, state, and county levels, and Florida’s East Coast Human Trafficking Task Force. He is a certified counselor and has counseled numerous persons in several states in person and through private social media. He currently resides in Beckley, West Virginia.  Epling is also the author of Transfiguring Ivan (Xulon Press, 2009).
