Author Tiffany Potter delights young readers with the second book of the series; Bucky Teaches Bravery ($14.99, paperback, 9781662867125; $5.99, e-book, 9781662867132).

Potter’s second book in the “My, oh my!” character building series aims to teach children to look beyond what they see in front of them to find the lesson hidden within the “goofy” pages. Potter’s imaginative and refreshing fiction with built-in lessons will help children grow and learn with fun-spirited characters and valuable character building stories and references. While this book is much needed motivation for any age, it was written specifically for preschool and primary aged children. Young readers will be inspired to grow and learn how to treat themselves and others.

When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Potter said “My son Andy. He has learned to be so brave as he has grown and I am so proud of him.” In addition, she also said, “It is my pleasure to share what God has given me through my children with the world. Having four boys, I count myself experienced to write most anything! Truthfully, I write what I believe my children will enjoy and understand.”

Tiffany Potter grew up in the small town of Foxworth, MS, where she admits that there were never many ambitions to achieve more out of life. She considers her upbringing likened to small town people living small town dreams. Potter’s biggest dream was to write and she has been writing books since high-school. She attributes her children to providing her the inspiration to write more. In fact, the cute little books they create together have become the center of their lives and brought them so much joy. Her role as both a Sunday School and high school teacher has also helped Potter understand how young minds work as well. In addition to writing, she enjoys spending time with her family—four boys take much of her time and extra love. Beyond work and family, Potter’s time is spent with the Lord. Her passion outside of church is food. She cooks anything from scratch that she can—baking included.
