Even though she was practically born in church (her mother would have been in service that Sunday morning had she not gone into labor), Wilson was not spared divorce, loss of income, mental breakdown and even jail. However, God walked alongside her through these trials, and in this memoir she shares some of the promises, vision boards, affirmations and poetry that proved therapeutic to her during difficult times.
“[This book] is written to encourage and inspire others to share your testimony so that our Almighty God will get the glory that He deserves,” said Wilson.
Barbara Goings Wilson, a retired award-winning science teacher, taught for 38 years in North and South Carolina. She was also trained by Child Evangelism Fellowship and served as instructor in several churches and communities. Wilson is the very blessed mother of two from her first marriage with two grands and three great-grands. God has also blessed her to live in three of His beautiful biomes: The temperate deciduous forest of the Carolinas, tropical ocean in Key West, Florida, and the Sonoran Desert in Tucson, Arizona. Wilson and her husband, Carl live in beautiful Savannah, Georgia.
